To make evident all extraordinary deeds done during last quarter and also in next periods we introduced the Recognition portal developed by Epam volunteers on our Project!
It proposes a simple way for each of team member to say “Thank you” to coworkers for the
concrete deed, action or event by just simple dragging stars with different wights and commenting for which action you give the star.
There are qualities that we are highly rating on our project and want to cultivate them going forward. All these qualities are available as Reasons in Recongnition portal for what you can give a star to your team mate.
Employee introduced reasonable idea to solve problems the project faces and this idea was picked up by the team (and/or customer) and put into practice.
Super effective performance:
- Employee demonstrates results that are higher than their qualification requires;
- Employee solved a serious issue successfully, having made more effort than expected;
- Employee worked unplanned but necessary overtimes and it was not covered according to policy
- Employee supervises a newcomer and by the end of the trial period the manager has no complaints about the quality of their work
- Employee is an expert and consults colleagues on search and implementation of best technical decisions ( if this is out of his responsibilities)
Professional development:
- Employee studies new technologies (important for the company) on their own and applies their knowledge (this is mandatory) solving project issues and improving the results.
- Employee conducts seminars and other educational events for their colleague
Positive client’s feedback:
Manager (or employee) got brilliant feedback regarding their results from the client (e-mail, skype). Detailed description required, just “Thank you” is not enough.
Team spirit:
- Employee participates actively in organizing informal events for the whole team, making people better connected and proud to be a part of a project
- Employee contributes into building relationship with customer
- Promoting TRR-ODC within EPAM
And it is really pleasure to realize that people you are working with value you as a professional and see your daily achievements or challenges!
