Wow, I'm a Star!

To make evident all extraordinary deeds done during last quarter and also in next periods  we introduced the Recognition portal developed by Epam volunteers on our Project!

It proposes a simple way for each of team member  to say “Thank you” to  coworkers for the concrete deed, action or event by just simple dragging stars with different wights and commenting for which action you give the star.

There are qualities that we are highly rating on our project and want to cultivate them going forward. All these qualities are available as Reasons in Recongnition portal for what you can give a star to your team mate.

Initiative:

Employee introduced reasonable idea to solve problems the project faces and this idea was picked up by the team (and/or customer) and put into practice.

Today is the last working day of our team mate - Yulia Karnatsevich. She's leaving us to join another important project in her life - Maternity!
She started to work for TRR-ODC on May,2011 and we will remember her as person who not only perfectly tested O2I, but also learned and successfully maintained testing of different Portal applications. 
Also she actively supported and coordinated different non-project activities. It is really pitty to loose such a member who was one of team spirit creators!

We hope the stork brings you, Yulia, a healthy and beautiful new boy  and we wishing you both all the best !!

Old New Year tour to Zuzya Poozersky

In order to thank all team members for intensive work during recent releases, somehow mention farewell party to several key members leaving team (Dima Syrtsou, Dzina Padolskaya, Vadzim Volkau, Dzmitry Galyuk) and of course make current team closer, our PM, Irina Ivanova arranged an Old New Year bus tour to belarussion city Postavy to Zuzya Poozersky, who is called also as belorussion Ded Moroz ( or Santa).

The most complex thing for everybody was to get up at 6:00AM to be at bus station at 8:10.

But we did it and our trip started!

It was great that many people invited their relatives so that they can share tour impressions and get aquinted with colleagues of their husband/ wife. Also we invited to join our ex-team members like Dmitry Chirun, Valentine Palazkov, Igor Degterov

It was about 10-12 degrees of frost, so we requested bus to stop to warm up a little bit - someone with tea, someone with something stronger :)

It's pleasure to announce a new blog of our EPAM TRR-ODC Project Team!

I  hope, this will be a good place to unite team members from Belarus, USA, France and Germany through describing our work and no-work events,  sharing impressions and telling about how we are working and who we are outside the work.
